One more night, I dreamed it was a good one

Try as he might he's unable to speak
He grabs her by the hair, he strokes her on the cheek
The bed is unmade like everything is
Dark little heaven at the top of the stairs
Take me like that, ruin it all
Then build it again by the light in the hall...
(photos are not by me!)
(oh, and New Guy disappeared.  Poof, like that...)

sorry I've been so behind on your posts but after reading the final sentence of this post I had to look back and realize I missed something

I am so sorry the New Guy didn't work out and the turmoil with your ex. I'm no relationship expert whatsoever, but also a frequent viewer of he's just not that into you and even though you're wondering if the amount of interest (frequent dates, calling back etc) is only an early part of the relationship, it does seem rather odd to be consistently involved with someone and then all of the sudden he's terribly busy without prior excuse, something is/was off there. I don't blame you. clearly you were confused at the state of relations with your ex, if anything the experience probably showed you the important thing that you care for your ex but aren't in love with him, which may be worth risking the new guy who didn't seem that dependable in the first place. maybe you're not top of his priorities yet after 3 dates, but he still can't just run off on you like that. you deserve better. maybe this was your mistake, maybe it was his, but its not a lifelong character flaw of yours, don't worry. we all make mistakes, and at worst that is what this was, and nothing more.
