I love this. I love its whimsy, its soothing tones...but most of all, its message.

HAD I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

Thank you for posting this. I found your blog in March searching for any new art from an ex girlfriend I'd lived with for two years and suddenly didn't any longer. It led me to your page from the title of a book in which, either you or some other site outlined quite nicely for me. It was enough of a tale that it gave me a bit of patience for the unexpected nature of finding, and keeping, love.
At first I'd check back for little tidbits of levity and some sense of serenity, but eventually in an attempt to move past the whole thing, ceased to nurse my wounds and trudged on to find a flag to fly.
I just got out of my second serious business relationship (for the year and my life) and I somehow wandered back to your page. I actually just wanted to say thanks.
You don't need to post this comment as it's a bit long and more about me than it is about your post, which is selfish.
